FAQs

Does my child need to bring anything special to class?

Nothing but him or her self! Apart from that all we ask is that everyone comes to class in flat shoes – trainers or school plimsolls are ideal – and loose comfortable clothes since drama can mean a lot of movement and jumping around like a bit of a mad thing! If and when props or costumes are required for class or shows, these will all be things you and your child will have at home

Can we watch a class first?

Drama classes are all about participation, that’s where the fun comes in. We are happy to offer a 5 week trial period of lessons for your child to join in with a class without committing to the whole term.

What if I sign up and pay for a term and my child only attends one lesson?

We are happy to offer a trial period of 5 weeks before you commit to the whole term. This will allow your child time to get over any first day nerves, give him or her the time needed to get to know the class teacher and some of the other people in the class (and hope fully make a friend or two!), get to know how our classes work and what fun they are, and for you to assess the benefits of our classes for your child.

If you do pay for a full term and your child only stays for 5 lessons we will refund the balance of the term fee to you.

My child is very shy. Will drama classes help to overcome this?

Absolutely! Drama is a great chance for children to develop further confidence and communication opportunities, to meet new people and make new friends in a fun-filled and friendly environment. Your child will be able to join in with other kids the same age and have fun, talking and playing and learning together with an enthusiastic, approachable teacher.
